Description
"This picture was taken by Bill Kerekes in the 1920s at Catfish Bend on the Grand River. The launch tied to the Boat House belonged to Dad. The Boat house was built on top of 3 scow boats, like pontooons. Dad said the people were from Grand Rapids. The boat was towed by a motor launch. He was invited in and found a small baby asleep on a full-sized bed. The catfish are estimated to have been about 25 or 30 pounds in weight." Carl Kerekes, Jan. 1996
